EXPERIENCE PERTH

Visit experienceperth.com to discover all there is to see and do in Perth and its surrounds.

The Experience Perth region comprises the vibrant city of Perth itself, the beautiful coast stretching from as far north as Lancelin to Mandurah in the south, including such areas as Rottnest Island and Fremantle. The region also sweeps inland to the Avon Valley, Swan Valley and Darling Ranges.

The city itself boasts a glorious selection of shops, bars, restaurants, galleries, theatres and museums. Along with the scenic splendours of the Swan River and Kings Park – both offering a wealth of activities helping you to relax and get back to nature while remaining in the heart of the city.

For a maritime feel, journey south to Fremantle on the coast where you can enjoy the carnival atmosphere of street performers outside the weekend markets, delight in the buzz of activity around the popular cafe strip and Fishing Boat Harbour or discover the many gorgeously restored historical buildings.

Take a short ferry boat ride to Rottnest Island and soak up the laid-back, beachside holiday atmosphere, explore the idyllic bays and swim in the pristine waters or hire a bike for a relaxing cycle around the whole island.

Take the time to explore the ribbon of white sandy beaches along the aptly named Sunset Coast, which stretches from city beaches north to Lancelin and inland to Gingin.

Further south at coastal Rockingham, visitors can get close to nature by visiting areas such as Penguin and Seal Island. Nearby Peel is another jewel in the Perth region crown. Home to the city of Mandurah, the region offers all the style of city amenities with a real holiday feel.

Head inland to the glorious Swan Valley, Chittering Valley and Perth Hills. These regions are well known for their character buildings, national parks, rolling vineyards, stylish restaurants, quaint cafes and gourmet delights.

For more of a rural feel, visit the Avon Valley, where picturesque scenery embraces green rolling hills, babbling brooks and quaint villages featuring historic buildings, arts and crafts and friendly locals.
