The French live by it, the Italians swear by it and the Australians are learning about it... does a glass of vino each day keep the doctor away?
We know wine is a key to passion but is it good for the heart? Top Perth cardiologist and founder of Margaret River winery, Thompson Estate, Dr Peter Thompson, will fill you in on all the facts and fables at écucina's premier 'hearts and wines' dinner on Wednesday 30 July, from 7pm.
Jane and Peter Thompson established Thompson Estate in 1997 and are also partners in nearby Pierro and Fire Gully vineyards. With so many quality labels under his belt, Peter's background as a heart specialist gives him a hands-on perspective on the medical benefits of quality wine.
The connection between wine and the medical profession in Margaret River is particularly strong, so find out what the attraction is and enjoy an evening of enticement, entertainment and elegance at écucina.
Places are strictly limited for this one-off event, so please book early to avoid disappointing your tastebuds.
Designed by ecucina's new head chef Ben Toye, our specially-tailored degustation menu complements each wine perfectly and is attached to tempt your tastebuds.
