Simone Young conducts Tchaikovsky

Tchaikovsky wrote of his sixth symphony "I have never felt such satisfaction, such pride, such happiness as in the knowledge that I have created a good thing". The West Australian Symphony Orchestra certainly agrees.

Enjoy a free tea or coffee and talk prior to the concert with a complimentary copy of The West Australian newspaper. Wesfarmers Arts free pre concert talks will take places inside the concert hall from the stage 9:40 am for 20 minutes. Stay afterwards to enjoy a buffet lunch. Bookings are essential.

The West Australian Symphony Orchestra is Western Australia's largest and busiest performing arts company. It plays a central role in the heart of musical life in Western Australia, performing over 130 concerts each year with some of the world's most illustrious conductors and soloists to audiences in excess of 180.000 people.
