Van She released one of 2008s more thrilling debut record trips in the shape of V. A collection of spacey, proggy dance sonics with its foot firmly planted in the pop world, V delivered on the promise Van She have been showing since their inception to be one of Australias more adventurous new wave of acts.
In June 2009 Van She will release Ze Vemixes, that same record, but not as we know it.
Ze Vemixes is that record sent through a shredder, with the pieces reassembled and fed through a bank of effects and filters, most notably that effect known as techno this, bitch! Ze Vemixes features album tracks, a live favourite, and one completely new track as a completely invigorated set of slamming modern techno, a selection of Van She hits given the famous Van She Tech pummelling into the kind of jacking disco that everyone wants to be at and no one wants to leave.
Ze Vemixes will be released digitally and as an additional disc with the V album on June 8.
